“B” Transfer, Inc. was founded by my father (a son of Basque immigrants) in 1958. He knew nothing about the moving and storage industry but realized that with the growth of Mountain Home Air Force Base that there was an opportunity for a 41 year old entrepreneur. He began with a 6000 square foot warehouse and two small used trucks. I grew up in the business working part time after school. After my education I joined the company full time in 1976 and continued building the company we have today focusing on steady growth and long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and employees.
We have 80,000 square feet of warehousing (40,000 commercial, 40,000 self storage), 24 employees, and a fleet of local and long distance equipment. I serve as its President and General Manager. I am a “hands on” business owner and manager. I have over 35 years experience and knowledge in this industry. Our 24 employees clearly understand my philosophy and mission. We will make whatever goes wrong…right…and we will continually adjust the process to meet our customers’ needs.
“B” Transfer, Inc. is a Drug Free Workplace. All employees are drug screened and background checked prior to employment and randomly tested. Additionally, we are in complete compliance with Mayflower’s Standards of Performance. All of our packers and Van Operators have taken and passed Mayflower’s Quality Labor Training program along with its annual re-certification. Our customer service representatives have attended Customer Service Workshops at Mayflower headquarters.
We continue to improve our service with hands on experience and feedback from our customers. We specialize in corporate relocations and government relocations. Our list of long time customers, spanning over many decades, is proof that we are here to stay and that your relocation is handled with the utmost of care.
